These arrowheads and a heart shaped stone I bought in a garage sale, I do know they came from Newberry, Luce County, MI. But were they actually found there or brought up from the lower part of michigan where the family was originally from or worse yet, they migrated from Ohio, so the origin is iffy. But can someone give me their names please, the first one is the color of stone or chert I believe its called as one I found in Isabella county, MI. Them I donated to a musuem in Ind. tho..
Thanks!! root

The first one looks like a Thebes.

The second one looks like a Dovetail.

The 3rd and 4th are hard to really tell since they are damaged and the heart shaped rock is natural.

They could very well be from Ohio so if you can't stand having Ohio artifacts I would be willing to take them off your hands for you. ;D

Yeah maybe, but if we can get a few more in the southern part of Ohio then maybe it will pull us further away from Michigan. ;D

most likely from Ohio as Michigan indians would be to busy crying about Ohio State kicking Michigans butt to have time making points! ;D

I agree with MD, Norwood chert which is located in or just north of Norwood Michigan on the north western portion of the state.
