Very nice picture Kieth-tx, thanks for showing that. Any idea on the date/age that those flakes were deposited?

Thanks for the comments guys. Naturegirl-not a indian artifact kind of guy but I asked the landowner about it....he said he remembered playing around this rock when he was a kid...he is 73. This property has been in their family since the 1850's.

That is very unusual to see on the surface like that. Is that in a wash/gully? Very cool.

It is on a hill top. The first pic shows the rock and looking down one side of the hiil. The second pic shows the location at the top. There are many pieces that have made their way into the road. Did not see any points there.

Cool spot. I don't know what the orientation is there, but it was usually the thing to find a place high up on the south side of the hill, as most of the stonework was done during the winter time.

It is on the north side....both pics are facing east...setting sun at my back. Not much of a winter down here...and right now it is between 101-105 degrees. 8) :o :-\

Stopped there friday and sat down facing all that flint...it was actually a comfortable seat....cool and in the shade. I have a picture of one of the points that the landowner found...but it is too large. Might try taking a pic of the screen...this point is soooo cool. The landowners family have found quite a few.
