Seeing all the neat finds posted on here makes me want to do some artifact hunting myself. The last few weekends i hit a stream close to the Delaware in Northern NJ. Now i assume that sine i found that spot that it is prolly well hunted out. Is there anyone in North Jersey or Eastern PA, that would help me and the wife get started? We are willing to drive a good distance. We currently MD and have an extra one if you want to do that instead. Got time as soon as this weekend. Thanks

I am not in your area but you might try topography maps. They seem to be a little better than Google earth.Try looking for high places on or near creeks and rivers. Large shallows that could be crossed and anything across from islands upstream. Also stop and talk with some farmers that still plow their fields. If you have a mountain range look for rock overhangs in the creeks on top or even in the bottoms :dontknow:
Good luck!
