Nice looking drill collection. We find quite a few reworked from recycled point's here, but we don't find many that actually started out as a drill

Man oh man, there are some killer examples of Drill forms in that tray. Those are some dandies for sure. Looks like some nice Agate and Knife River pieces both. Great looking tray Steve. Thanks for sharing them.

i forgot to mention about the two pieces
one on lower left and one on lower right
they are both multi-tools
each one is a thumb scraper with a drill or perforating bit on the sharp end
these are the only two i have ever seen
does any one else have something similar ???
if you do please post it here or post any other drills you may want to share

Steve what is the grey piece top center above the circle of drill's ? We don't find anything like that around here.

i think it is a piece of TRSS or grey chert
it looks like it was a knife blade made fer a bone knife handle and than later reworked one end into a drill
if you look at the one below the circle i think it was the same deal only made from a diff material like KRF or something
do ya think ???

now here is another broke (on the left) that is similar only made from agate
this piece i found last week

I see what your talking about that makes sence about the knife being reworked into a drill they are a interesting artifact
