thanks for the ids and yes the field was extremely muddy. thanks flintchasr for posting the pics for me. the one snyder is from a field well known for snyders but this is only my second one. too muddy to walk now and thecreeks here still havent dropped enough. thanks again. steve and jim.

Don't mention it Steve glad to help. I wish the pics of the celt would have come out better its really a nice piece with quite a bit of polish on the bit. HH

cleaned it up so we can try again turned out nice no matter . im heading to the point field in the morning sounds like alot more rain coming. ill call in the morning.

i have the two points i told you about. ill have flintchasr post them so you can decide. he can post from his camera alot better than mine. the celt has alot of white flint chips embeded in the stone. i cant remember what that type of stone is called but ill post a better cleaned up photo soon. any ideas on the broken one ?
