Wow! This is clearly a stone canoe paddle! I am an expert on stone artifacts :laughing7: :laughing7: Just kidding. not sure about this but can't wait to see what it turns out t be.

That is just a rock. Toss it in your flower bed and get back out there. You will come up with something eventually. Good luck !

Everyone is saying "not an artifact,just a rock". I saw3 of these side by side in an old artifact book from 1962......a friend had this book but no longer has it....they were all shaped the same and had the two little holes that look like "eyes"( seen in picture one)!

Every effigy I have ever seen shows signs of being worked and has a distinct shape, yours has none that can be seen....Mother Nature makes billions of pointed rocks, I see no signs on your rock of anything to suggest an artifact, even with the two tiny dimples.....

Have seen a lot of just rocks that people tried to convince theirselves were artifacts.......

If you believe it is one, keep it and look for more artifacts.....Wish you lots of luck either way. :icon_thumright:
