Uniface knife

Just thought you guys would like to see this uniface knife of mine. I believe it was found in Clinton county Kentucky. It's made of hornstone.

That is a nice knife. Is that part of the cortex that is still present on it? I often find scrapers that are that way and it makes you wonder if it was done that way on purpose.

I've always thought they left it on there because it made for better gripping due to it's roughness. :dontknow:

YES the cortex left on a knife would be very good to help you hold on,, even a modern knife gets slippery prossing fresh meat, i have helped prosiest several hogs!! Terry
