BEST i have ever seen (BANNER WORTHY?)

my buddy found this in warren county ohio today, its 1 1/2 by almost 2 inches wide clear as a daisy hafted scraper and thin, i have never seen one made so well, definetly a framer. lets see yours!

Awesome find man. Is it rounded like a Hafted Scrpaer or is it sharp like a Knife? It looks like a rounded edge Knife in the pictures. Very cool looking piece.

wow man that is great, I really like hafted scrappers a lot, they have been handled a lot more than other points I feel everytime I pick one up.

Yeah 30 i yahooed hafted scrapers and those beautiful flintridge ones showed up, are those yours. I found one on liveauctioneers that looked identical to my buddies and it went for 400, thats crazy, lets get my buddy a banner

Neat piece and pretty material, but the worlds best scraper is still just scraper. Cool but not banner-worthy.

Nice hafted scraper.
Not banner worthy in my opinion but still a very nice piece.
Banners are reserved for exceptional quality of rare pieces.
Hafted scrapers are not that rare.
Don't be disapponted. It's a great piece and if you keep at it, you will find a
banner piece. I'm still looking for mine too.

I think my anchor pendant was banner worthy but did not get a banner, grr found it a year or 2 apart bu never pulled banner with it somehow, fit perfectly together

when I get home i will post pics, i swear on everthing i found both halfs, i put the bottom half in a find contest in a columbus ohio show a few years ago, i jave the old post before the other half on here somewhere. I walked right to the other half soon as i got in the field as i looked there evertime i went back. I thought i was dreaming and had to drive home a hour away as soon as i found it.

Your pendant was indeed a banner worthy find. There might be 200 or so authentic anchor pendants at most, rare in any condition.

I too was surprised your Anchor Pendant never made the Banner. I know I voted for it and was shocked it didn't make it. You just never know though.

It's like when I took my Bone Whistle/Flute to the ASO show for Best Field Find contest and I got beat out by a Drilled Tooth. Even the guy that had found the Tooth came over and said he was surprised my Flute didn't win because of how rare they area. He told me had been coming to these shows for 30 years and mine was the first Bone Flute he could ever remember being in the Field Finds contest. He even apologized to me and I told him it was no big deal, but I was surprised myself it didn't win. I mean I have found probably 50 or 60 Drilled Teeth and that was only whole Bone Flute I have ever found. You just never know how people will vote.
