    Artifact or Geofact?

If this wasn't cavity up I know on my morning walk through the field this would not
be in my hand. I don't know if this is natural or made by hand. Artifact or Geofact?
Not many days left to walk the fields before harvest. Thanks for looking, HH DFW

I'd have to say that one is an artifact and more than likely a Mortar like others have stated.

    Nice find.

I agree, nice mortar. I've found a few small pestles but never the mortar.
