single and multi notched points

this frame i put together of odd mostly TRSS (gray chert) items including single and multi notched arrow points
the amount of single notched points should illustrate that these were made that way and are not unfinished points
also the multi notched (huffaker) points are displayed in this frame

nice points.. interesting, what purpose did the exra notches serve?

i don't know what the extra notches are for, but possibly to provide more hafting places?

I would think the extra notches were for more secure hafting.
