Found this point in oldham county, Ky today along with many other broken pieces of flint!!
I believe it's a Stemmed Point
Looking to get some help on the time period and any info on this. Thanks everyone.
scraper with a basal notch in it? One side looks like the use cutting side (tan colored side) and the other more smooth and polished from being hand held. But if that's an intentional notch higher up on the cutting side maybe it was halfted?
Not an arrow head. A very exhausted knife. Re worked until it was chunked. Probably saw many uses. Kinda looks like hornstone ?? which is easily reworked and very sharp. Nice find and a cool used tool.
