Here is a nice variety of Mandan finds with the point Larson wanted to see posted (comment he made on the Pottery Shard post). I'm sure you guys can pick out which one we all were excited about. T Witko has some pics of the actual find I hope he will post. Thanks again guys!

Okay, I've been waiting since July 10 to post these. This was one of those moments that we be back every time you look at this point. Yeah, this is why we hunt.

Thanks Steve for the hospitality while Trevor was back home.

The color, wood grain, and workmanship on that point is outstanding! It looks to be finely serrated too? Please get some better pics of the serrations if possible.

Oh yeah, even with stem broke off, I love the brass/copper point too!

Close up pics of the Petrified Wood

coteau, I agree the workmanship of this point is just unreal; I'd have to say it is a piece of art made by an artist. It is hard to get a good picture of it to show its real beauty but I'll give it a shot. The copper point is my first cool find with my new hobby of metal detecting.

Steve, Bum Luck, and Flintdigger thanks for the comments and the thoughts of making the banner.

T Witko, yeah that point is exactly why we go and thanks for the extra pics. Sorry it took so long to get it posted.

Thanks for the pics! That point is so awesome, I can't stop looking at it...

I forgot all about the banner when the format changed but yeah that is banner, and I'm pretty sure I'm not being biased because I'm from ND. Anyone should see the beauty in that point!
