sandstone artifact/atlatl weight?

I haven't done any research yet. Seems I have seen atlatl weights in this shape though I can't remember where. Any thoughts?

nice if it isnt one,it could of gave them the ideal to make one.too light though maybe?

I've never found anything like it. I've seen a few fire spindles that looked exactly like that, but can't go just by looks. Too narrow a hole for an atlatl?
Call it a Drilled Cone and you can't go wrong boom. Very cool find.:occasion14:

No..sorry about that.. there is deposit in it that gives it that look.and Mabey the angle of the photo. The sandstone itself is round.

...ah....I find rocks like that all the time but with hexagonal holes.
