Nice to see faces behind names. I still feel new to this site. On the other hand, I found my first point in the late 50's. I lived on a river and the farmer across the street had no electricity, no phone, kerosine lanterns for light, those really were the days, LOL, but he did have a field and an old part Swamp Yankee/part Narragansett took me to find that first point:hello2:

Anyway, that's me in 2010 standing on the cliffs at the south end of Conanicut Island, at the entrance to Narragansett Bay. Check out the house sitting on the cliffs distant left. Location, location, location. LOL. It is huge, but then the mansions of Newport are less then a mile to left of where I'm standing. The other photo is this past Fall, looking beat after a beach hunt I guess.

This hobby brings people from all over the word together from all different ages. We didnt have internet when I was a kid. I find it truly amazing every time I get on this. And thanks to sites like Tnet we can share and meet some really nice people. The only sad thing I find in my area is I always wonder why all the good people are so far away. Thank you Tnet, rock

Definetly. I started bringing home jars of flakes and not knowing what I had. Besides reading all my books everything else you guys have taught me. It's great to put faces to names and screen names. Young and old this hobby has made it so I have a whole new network of people that enjoy the same things I do. Glad I stumbled on to this site a few years ago and have gotten to talk to some really cool intelligent people. Hope someday I get to hunt with some of ya.

That huge medate is great. I was thinking your buddy looks native american, then I read on, and saw he was of Mexican descent. From my understanding, Indians and Hispanics are the same. By that, I mean they have the same bone structure. I read that Mexicans aren't a race, instead, an ethnicity. I have lots and lots of Mexican friends. They are great people, and the absolute best friend any one could ask for. They can cook up some good eating to.
