Notching an Arrow Shaft

Some of you guys will probably be interested in this. Archeologist working in caves out in the eastern Oregon desert discovered a number of sticks that had the ends squared, that looked like this squared end.jpg and they couldn't figure out why. Then one day they found a stick with a matching notch, and it all came together. The video shows what they figured out.

That is incredible!As a traditional arrowmaker myself,the notch is always to toughest part for me....have to try that!
