I went to one of my river sites today and hunted for a couple of hours and found one really nice Knife/Lance Point made from Carter Cave Flint. It's right at 3 inches long, has some light grinding on the base, and is very nicely made. I also found a base off of a E-Notch Thebes also made from Carter Cave and a broken Point and some Scrapers.

I was thinking and hoping it might be a Paleo piece, but everything I have found from this spot so far has been Archaic so I'd guess it's an Early Archaic Lance Point. Still a great find either way.

Here's some pics and the video.

Very nice. That flaking has it knocking on the door and could very well be older. Anytime you hit that 3 inch mark in artifacts it's big. Nice find Grim and thanks for sharing.
