New finds

I found these a couple of days ago. The preform is made of Boyle Chert. Not sure what the other material is.

nice point know what the material is? Ever find any Flint ridge material where your at?

I'm not sure what type of material on the point. I haven't found any Flintridge material down here in Central Ky. I wish I could! Newnan Man posted some pics of some very nice Dovetails that were made of Flintridge. Flintridge is a very pretty material. We find a lot of artifacts made of Boyle Chert down here. It is a very colorful type of material. It has shades of red, blue, purple, white, and pink.
