Painter I'm sorry for your son. I know the agony he is in. I had mine removed when I was 8 years old. Make sure you keep him caught up in his class work. After my appendix surgery, I had to stay out of school for two weeks. I fell behind in math at that time. I never caught up again. It created an inferiority complex that stuck with me. He will be ok. I know he is really sick now.

Good luck and my prayers are with you and your family. My grandfather had appendicitis, and he's just fine now!

Thanks for all the prayers he is awake but it was a perforated and a little infected so we will b here for a few days but he is tuff poor guy was really in pain for 24 hours but all is better from here ...tuff stuff being a dad . You guys are great you truly are !!!!!

Thanks NC I just wish I would of went with my guy feeling last night could of saved a little suffering

Glad to hear he is doing okay ,he is in good hands with Vanderbilt .my adult son had an appendicitis attack a year or so ago and his too was perforated a little bit,scary thing.
