Go Figure!

Have spent many hours this past winter Hinton a spot in the Mississippi River flood plain only to find a bunch of trash and broken pieces. My wife's family came to visit this past weekend and her little brother was dying to go out and hunt with me so I took him to this spot. I probably have 15-20 hours in this spot and he goes out and finds the only whole point found so far within 2 hours! Go figure! The look on his face and the memory are priceless though!

I have a book of dig sites in this area and have been able to ID the point as being early woodland but it doesn't give a specific type. I have looked at other sources and the closest I can tell is that it's an Adena.

Does anyone have an opinion??

Thanks!

That's a nice one! Now he will be hooked on arrowhead hunting for life. Not sure on the types in your area but it does resemble one.

Yep! I know the excitement that I feel when I find one and being 12 makes it that much more exciting! I found my first one a year ago and I'm hooked for life!
