Can anyone elaborate on what this might be
I found it close to a creek where I have found a few points in the same field.

Limestone.......... creek find?

Looks like a piece of very highly weathered Limestone to me and natural. I bet if you look closely you will see Fossils in the stone.

true! And I don't have a lot of time too hunt or study artifacts like I'd like too. So if I'm hunting and find something that I question then I keep it til further notice!!
