PSunday turned out pretty well but it was way WAY to hot to be hunting with heat index approaching 120 deg

1. I think most likely a Val Verde10,000 to 3000 BP
2. Possibly a Leon 3000 to 1300 BP
3. Misc. Caddo pottery
4. A beautiful motley 10,000 to 3000 BP
5. Sunday"s Smoker - I think an Epps 10000 to 3000 BP -anyone recognize that material?

It could be, I know for sure whatever it is it traveled a good distance to come to North West Louisiana

Ohh I think points from everywhere are beautiful, if you ever spend just a little time trying to make one you'll understand.

You have some pretty nice points. The material on that last one looks similar to some of the mottled quartz/agate that is found up here in the High Plains (Wy.,MT., and ND.)

I've seen old maps that show Caddo trade routs as far up as Michigan so it's not far a stretch to think it may have come from those places. Interestingly enough the biggest thing that the Caddo traded was salt, there are huge salt pits near here that reach right to thre surface.
