I found this bifurcated arrowhead half in half out of the ground some 50 years ago in upstate NY
It is the nicest and most unique of all the arrowheads and arrowhead pieces that I have ever found.
Note the weathering, at least that is what I believe the color variation to be. Any thoughts regarding it?

sure is a nice one, could be kirk related, think it may be just the color of the flint because it is so old that a couple hundred years out of the ground would not do much, but im no expert. thanks for sharing

Well with the color on it could be just the type of material or it could of been hafted to a handle in the dark area, dropped and then the handle broke down after a few hundred yrs leaving a different color of patina on the artifact and if so then it would of been used as a knife. Its a real beauty
