Looks complete, just not a great example. It looks to me like there were many attempts to modify that base a little better though.

At the angle it is designed I would say its probably a knife and not a point. Still a real nice find.

Yessir Rock. Based on the blade beveling, looks to me like it's a worn out ol' knife that was about twice as long and re
sharpened to where it was eventually lost or discarded. It's complete though. Can't tell the age of the base mods, but it may have been in an effort to re-purpose the blade. Looks cool too.

They would actually haft a knife sideways into a handle and most times only use 1 side of it. That is why most knifes have a curve to the blade and 1 side doesn't looked used as much.
