You diffenently have the spot! That's as fine of collection as it gets. We don't have many axes in the area. Don't know what I would do if I stumbled across one of those big axes around here.

Imagine that, all those from a plowed field.

Some folks on here find mostly debitage they think is plow damaged stuff in their fields.

Awesome collection you have there! My imagination runs wild trying to think of how many people must have lived there, or how long they must have lived there, and just what kind of work they must have been doing to have produced and left behind all those axes?

Yep it's a plowed field. But don't get me wrong, it's a blessing and a curse. I have buckets of broken points and probably 15 completely destroyed axes. Some if the axes I have displayed have plow scars or chunks out of them.

I think about the same thing red beard. The occupation on the site had to be over thousands of years. I always wondered what kept so many people there for so long.
