Incised Slate 11 - 17 - 14

Recent rain did little to dampen my site so back out there yesterday . Along with a few arrow points and Drills I found a drilled slate pendant . When I cleaned my finds I noticed the incised lines on the small slate piece .

What a day! That sure is a lot a great finds. Wonder what the pendant markings mean if anything. Maybe its just doodles.

Awesome slate pendant! Those marks on it remind me very much of one I found (and had questions about)... and tried so hard to get the lines to show up in a pic... (sigh)
I could 'see' a number of things - like mountains, a wavy/stormy ocean, or (least likely) teepees- a community. That said, I have an extraordinarily broad imagination! Great finds- thanks for the show
