First pottery (job site save)

Looked at these snow frozen dirt piles all last winter and heard that someone had found an arrowhead during excavation. Finally had a chance to go back after the melt and found these laying right on top. Had another opportunity to go back but the landscapers were there and had piled more dirt on top from a different source and were removing material from the side. I didn't find any more but clued the crew to keep there eyes open. Waupaca County, Wi.

Nice! That's cord-marked pottery from the Woodland period; it's 1000-2500 years old.
