How big is it? Looks like about 1.75 x 4.5 x .625 and made of stone?

My guess is yes just natural rock... I found a lot like it when I use to walk streams, creeks, rivers and fields I. Missouri...

Doesn't look like the normal stone type of bowl fragment to me so probably natural. You live in that area? That is my neck of the woods but I stay clear of the mounds area.

Very hard to get permission to hunt any fields in that area also. You have to be related some how or another which I am not. I have tried with no results.

It was in a creek about a mile from the mounds on property I had permission to be on.

That's great you are a lucky person. You ever find anything stone there like points?

I found a few like that in Euharlee Creek. Looks like there are a few of us in the area. Maybe we should all meet up soon and look around. I found a few points just last weekend around the area
