The first three are from a piece I found in a new field. My neighbor has lived in this area for over 40 years and claims he has found multiple pieces like this, I just have no idea what it is. on the backside it looks almost unworked except for one corner. The others is my first tomahawk and game ball the tomahawk is broken in two places. found both of them within 5 feet of each other.

You definitely have some indian artifacts there as you know, nice! The piece in question though looks more like a " gun flint " to me .

Won't be long till you find a point in that new field.
Nice well used axe head.
You have some scrapers in there, some reduction flakes and what could be a round base point or a well made end scraper.. depends on what the other side looks like. A couple of the pieces look heat-treated
The square piece looks a lot like a native made gunflint.

Nice axe could you take a few close ups of it. The other piece does look like a gunflint. There a few threads on them with pictures you could compare too.

thanks for the info, ive been rock hunting since I was little but never really had the determination to find anything I just did it more for the exercise and to be outside, but now that im actually starting to map everything out im finding some pieces. thanks for the welcome also, everyone here finds some really nice artifacts, hopefully this spring once they turn over some fields ill have some nice pieces to post. here is some close ups of the broken tomahawk and a size reference to the game ball. I've heard them called hunting balls also so is there a way to tell them apart maybe because of their size? and also im posting some broken pieces I found yesterday, nothing spectacular.
