I have found 3 of these over the last year in the creek on my property. They are clearly man made with finger grovves in all of them and a flat, surface, with lines going down them. Are they just hand fired brick pieces or are they something older?

Also when I found my third yesterday, there was a giant clay piece, fairly heavy, nearby. Is this modern pottery that has been roughed by the creek? Or could it possibly be native as well? There were Plenty of native communities and activity where I live. Thanks for any help, and forgive me if I have only found modern junk. Any help would be appreciated.
I go down there after every major rain fall and clean up the old glass and porcelain shards I find but occasionally find stuff worth keeping.

Probably old bricks and debris. If your finding glass and porcelain, somebody way back when was dumping their trash and debris or there was an old homestead there.

Well it washed down from up the creek. I have found points in it several times. The glass and porcelain are usually top layers and small fragments while these are usually a little deeper.
Hoping it's more than just brick. Especially the pottery looking piece. The finger prints/grooves in the square ones are so vivid. It's weird.
