High Grade Flint

Did a short hunt today this was the only whole piece I found. This flint is the highest grade flint in our area. All the nicest artifacts are made from it. One of the best end scrapers I have ever found and its blueish gray in color. N GA
Looks to be a knife tip that broke then they made it into a scraper.

Might have its flat on the bottom but I do find knifes that are flat on 1 side. It was a nice change from the ovals I find. Probably Woodland period? Most everything else has been woodland.

Very nice flaking on that piece.

And it looks like a classic end/thumb scraper to me, not a reworked knife tip. Trust me.
