My friend found these both in Hardin county Illinois . Said the ax was limestone and the pennant was bone.

It could be Limestone but I would guess a harder creek material myself. Its nice either way

On the axe, are the lines running across it the grain in the rock or rasp marks? The lines make it look like a repro to me. Hope I'm wrong.
