Unbelievable blade find

Searching in a plowed field along the Ohio River half of a quite nice flint knife was found. Two years later, same field, the second half was found and the fit was perfect. Now that is a very nice recovery. :icon_thumright: Nice looking knife.

Kind of looks like a preform for a Dovetail.

What a pleasant surprise, especially when it goes to a nice long blade like that.
I have one broken dovetail that I'd pay hundreds for the other half, been 30 years since I found it, but still looking, you never know it still might show up, anyway congratulations !

Very cool story, ive never found the other half of one. Id say Adena knife blade on that one. They actually came in Cashes so there is probably more just under the surface where that one was.
