This is easily the best axe we have found at our site. My grandfather found it about 7 years ago. The polish is exceptional. Just a great piece all around.

That's a honk'n piece of nice workmanship for sure, and considering how many plowings and cultivations it survived almost unscathed makes it all the more remarkable!

That Axe was not utilitarian. It was never intended to be used as a chopping or cutting tool. That was a prized possession and a trophy or some sort. One of the best I have sever seen.
