I went out to my favorite fields yesterday. We got probably 3+ inches of rain on Monday and so there was a lot of new rock washed out to look at. Leave it to me to find the really weird ones. Any thoughts about this one? My (beginner) opinion is that it is worked and sharpened in one spot, the rest mostly left alone (unless the big flat break opposite the chipped area was intentional which I have doubts). It is really hard to tell from the picture what the geometry is like on this one. The area that is chipped almost seems raised up at an angle and the sharp side is so sharp it feels like you could almost shave with it.

Here it is with a few flakes, which might be nothing but they caught my eye.

Thanks for looking. Hopefully one of these days I will have something nice to share here!

I think the large one might be a core. I still keep them if they are nice.
