Our luck continues at Kindle Farm. Last week our treasure hunting class found a sweet piece of Native American pottery in a drainage ditch on campus. We weren't sure if it was Native pottery at first, but one of our teachers has a kit on loan from the Vermont State Historical Society containing a pottery specimen almost identical to the one we found. Yesterday's rain washed another piece out of the bank that fits perfectly with the first one we found. If we're ID'ed these pieces correctly, do you think this is Late Woodland Period or earlier?

Check the Today's Finds section a little later for some of our other goodies found so far this school year!

Just gone for Summer Vacation, but we're back now. The students have been excited to try out some new locations around town.
