Nice finds, always love a handful of Quartz. Is that a heavily weathered axe in the second pic?
theviking-They don't show up often but yes it's a typical looking axe for the area. Thanks

Nice quartz pieces and on the axe what is the material? I can see it is a axe but looks like something that could break very easy.

Rock I don't know the proper name of the material but it's a very hard stone almost like granite.-Thanks

Good stuff! The quartz always look nice to me. That is a nice axe!! I would give...to find one.

Continued good finds! The axe looks like stone that I see all over this area of NC. I don't know the proper name for it either although in the past it was called something even by archeologists that would be very politically incorrect today.
