Found these at Barton Creek in Austin, TX. Tons of this material scattered up and down the banks of the river. Heavy rains and flash floods must have brought this beautiful past to the surface. I've never actually been able to find a spear head or arrowhead. So my fingers are crossed. Tons of caves, and overhangs to search. Can't wait to get back and hunt for more. How big are they? As Steve said, probably just a utilized flake, but it could also be some really quick field work to thin out a chunk of chert making crude preforms.
