Here are some old surface finds from the shores of Grand Lake in New Brunswick. Two quartz points, a chert scraper and a large chert flake (or small tool) I believe. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I think the chert is from the Washademoak chert source, which is about 20km distant to Grand Lake.

The densities are very low around these parts, so they represent a lot of time spent staring at the ground.

Anyway, nothing too exciting, but locals might find it interesting...

Great finds BarnNB! I was told recently by an older gent on the Peninsula that in the 70s and 80s they used to find surface finds all over the shores in Summerville down to Kenebecasis Island area. Knowing the surface changes every year, that's still my target area being a local.
