I can only do this one pic...it's definitely proximal phalange...I'm thinking from bear...it's definitely worked...any help would be greatly appreciated

I found what i have figured out is a cache...all those points were in a spot the size of a soccor ball

The piece is the first few pictures a Deer Phalange and yours is 100% natural. They did actually make these in Tinklers by cutting off the bottoms and drilling a hole in the top.

Thank you for the info grim reaper!! Another question, what is a tinkler...I usually research everything to death but I can't find anything on a tinkler...thanks for ur help

I sent you a PM but the thoughts on these is that they were sown to the clothing so they would tinkle as they walked but more importantly as they danced.

If you have seen Dance With Wolves and can recall the dress worn by Stands With A Fist that had all the Shells sown on it, that is the basic idea for these.

And the hand ful I arrowheads I found I'm learning was a cache...does that sound right?

I saw that too but I have never been able to get any of mine to whistle so I have doubts on that theory.

ok...i found this stuff mainly on the surface....found a point sticking up out of sand and thats when i found what i think is a cache...otherwise i dont dig, would like too but im unsure as to where i should dig...have any advice on digging, Grim Reaper?....any info from anyone would be appreciated!!!

You need to check your state laws before you do any digging. If those Points were all found in the same spot they may be a Cache, but they seem to be of different types and different materials. Almost all Caches are of similar types and materials.

Oh ok...also with them points I foun d some oddstuff made from clay...taking pics now
