I am sharing a piece that i acquired from a gentleman in Ohio. This artifact is Graded - Museum Quality and is made of beautiful Carter Cave material. This is also one of my favorite pieces because of the special sentimental value it holds as well. Ex Dan Thompson,Ex John Royster Collections. Found in Pulaski County,Kentucky. Enjoy my friends! cjr5.jpg cjr6.jpg cjr4.jpg cjr3.jpg cjr2.jpg cjr1.jpg

The ripples in the flute channel and scallop flakes with cleaned up deltas are interesting. It looks like it is ex- Dan Theus collection.

Dan Thompson Collection. He is now deceased. Dan Theus is a knapper. Wrong guy buddy, but you already know that.

Pretty point.

Is this the same Clovis point that J&D was selling? Perhaps taken from a slightly different angle?

If not, then it’s remarkable how similar the patterns are in these two Clovis point images.

Yes sir it is. It was sent to me as a study piece along with several others. I am adding some of those incredible pieces to my collection.

There is no Pulaski County in Ohio FYI

Thank you for catching that creekhunter. The point originated from Kentucky, but was purchased from a gentleman in Ohio. I had Ohio on the brain. Sorry. Correction has been made.
