I think the little hamiltons are some of the prettiest arrow points we have. I have some that will fit on the head of a dime. How they did it I have no idea.
You sir have a nice one.
Really nice finds some great looking material good to see somebody have success ..... We got a ton of rain last week that flooded the river pretty good but no luck yet ..hopefully soon ..... Going thru artifact withdrawl [emoji16]
thanks for the comments i am very grateful to have access to the places that i can hunt.i barely got out of there yesterday evening as a severe thunderstorm came thru just as i left i had to stop 3 times and move limbs which had blown down ran over a bunch more i stayed until the last possible minute its hard to leave when you are finding good stuff and tnmountain i agree the little hamiltons and other small points like that are high on my list of fa vorites even though they arent that old relitevely speaking
also meant to add that i dont know the name of the material but its black as you can see the whole point is more of a glossy slick looking material the base with the flute or thinning flake is more duller grainy material but i like it a lot if it had been whole it would have been really nice
There is some old ones in Tenn if you hit the rite area. I think they all took a different route when they moved to Fl from your area cause I cant even find a old Dalton here. A few Early Archaic but not many.
