    Sounds like a metate. I have a few that have been used on both sides. As mentioned a photo will tell it best.

    can someone explain how to create an album or just add a pic? they just wont load GRRRR!!!!!

    the reason a football size grind stone is small is because I have a bigger one about 2 ft big and the small one that goes with it. also some fist size ones.
