Hellacious! I'd like to hear the story on it, too. Any edge wear or polish on it? Sorta looks like it on the rounded end.

Acquired piece. Story was it was in a load of sand. It came from Lee county. Doesn't show wear. Nick on distal end and a few flea bites on edges. The one side with some color was face down and the white side face up causing the difference in patina.

Now that is incredible. You might want to check the ground in the area you found that monster......there could be more.

What would that be used for? Would it be a knife and be resharpened and resharpened again.Would it be like a clovis platter? Or is it a hoe to be.Looks to thin and nice for that. So many questions, just wondering. Thanks ahead of time. Wonderful piece...
