That is a nice big point, and I have not a clue what it might type as. That had to be a rush to see it in the sifter, one of those times when the first thing I would have to do was look around quickly to see if someone was messing with me, cause it just seemed too easy. Congratulations, and show us what else you will undoubtedly find there. HH

I can't pinpoint it either, there are a few different types I've seen that closely match it and I don't think its been reworked a whole lot. How I didn't see that fall out of the dirt before blows my mind a little, it just so big and noticeable in the sifter, but it got by my rake and me. Wasn't necessarily methodical or neat was just kinda of going willy nilly and figured something had to be around with the flakes all over. I started thinking someone was messing with me out in the fields with the consistency of field finds, but to my knowledge they are all legit, there was just a lot of activity around here for a long long time (seneca river area) Like you said seemed a little too easy, but I hunt solo so no tricksters around to my knowledge haha. There were/are flakes all around this spot, some of the tinier ones even visible only an inch down and right on top of the soil around the bigger tree roots.

Will certainly be digging a lot more and will deff post other finds from around here :occasion14:
