This is an arrowhead that I found on our property in Kalamazoo County, Michigan that has been in our family since around 1850. I was digging a hole for a tomato plant and wala! There it was. I was pretty excited. I did some makeshift "screening" but did not find much else except a piece of farm machinery metal [I assume]. Would someone point me to some Southwest Michigan arrowhead/indian artifact literature please [like a Bible for all types of arrowheads found in an area.] I do not even know what type of point this is...? Is this a MacCorkle projectile point?

I think it looks like a small Vosburg Point. Is it fairly thin?

Vosberg Projectile Point

Let me take some more pictures: be right back >>> it seems to be an 1/8th inch thick at the thickest point.
