Besides that I ain't any luck at all. But this is the second rattlesnake in a week, so I got that going for me....lol

Tough call on those points. Quarts points rarely have that nice finished look that we see with other points made from other material so it's hard to say.

Was that thing a solid 6 footer? Monster!!! Did you eat it? I ate one on a camp out in New Mexico once & it was absolutely delicious. Yours has a beautiful color pattern & would make a nice looking hide.

Yeah it was nearly 6 ft. and only had 4 Rattlers and a button. We fried the one we killed last weekend, you wouldn't think snake meat would be pretty white meat like it is.. gonna skin it out this morning and keep the hide though

holy moly what a snake! Would hate to step on that joker.. Hard to tell from pics. The three on the right look like they might be battered up arrow points?

Never had snake before, but have tried fresh water eel fried up. Damn good white meat. Better then fish I thought.

There isn't anything wrong with rattle snake. At least the timber rattler we ate down in Texas years ago was delicious.
