These are from 2 hunts in the last week. It rained like 40 hells today so hopefully will find more soon. The point was just barely showing and it’s dinged 4 or 5 times but I’ll take it. It was actually in a tractor track! A921E1E3-EC49-40C2-B0D0-685FB134858D.jpeg The scraper was in a field that has some washout issues. The farmer had added dirt and graded it flat near the river. This piece was laying flat on top. It appears untouched which blew my mind. I find points in that field but he may have actually moved it in with the dirt. I can see it’s clay he brought in from a nearby hillside. Neither of these looked like anything so I didn’t film them. Wish I had. It’s been a slow yr as the farmers and weather kinda dictate what gets found C25B779C-62EA-4D30-B37D-06E091AD2CFA.jpeg but things are turning. 03E89F59-75A7-49E4-ABC7-761622A68176.jpeg pics don’t do it justice. It’s thin and the serrations are nice. Any info on ages or names would help.

Nice! Good to see some actual artifacts posted. You sure those aren't naturally formed rocks? :laughing7:

. The point is beat up bad as you can see. The black “scraper” is definitely a tool. The flaking is hard to get on a pic real good but it got fine serrations on one edge and a more zigzag looking edge on the other side. I wetted the black one to get a better pic. 56E2E267-C6B4-4FD1-A184-83614525353A.jpeg 56E2E267-C6B4-4FD1-A184-83614525353A.jpeg E954386D-2BC3-4546-A47D-D0720A0E0B16.jpeg 3E2BB675-5B40-4FD6-94BB-77995E91ED7A.jpeg DABE6061-EA3C-41E4-8147-9B7563BD7624.jpeg

Don't know what the dark one is, but I like it! Cool material.

Do you think the black one had a stemmed base at one time or is it ground all the way across the bottom?
. I don’t think it had a base. Maybe it’s a knife but I don’t see how the would have lashed it to anything. I think it was a hand tool. It’s well worked and seems one side is serrated. The material is awesome but the color doesn’t help it photo well. I’m not an expert but I know enough to know this ain’t natural.

Definitely not natural , you can tell it's worked and serrated edges we're intentional. I think it was large knife , they were pretty crafty when it came to hafting blades to handles. The material is really unique almost looks like flint mixed with something else.

Nice work, They look amazing. Congrats. For some reason I never find them around here. We had 5 different tribes in the area but cant seem to come across any while detecting the farms. I have found 1 in the past year and they was by accident. It got washed up in my gold sluice.

To me your "scraper" looks like a large triangle or a knife. Looks nice to me I like the color of that flint.

yeah it has white specks all though it. I find a piece of that material every so often but it’s rare here. This is the first intact artifact I’ve found make from it I believe.

That some very cool stuff there- and it's not too hard to imagine that dark piece as a knife. This is a pic of a newly-made knife- same shape blade, not very difficult hasping- or lashing-on.
