A buddy and I dug for 2 hours on his property in Wentzville MO. This was pulled out of a bank of a man made pond. Lost Lake or a Kirk Corner notched?

That's a BEAUT!!!! If the base is heavily ground I would go lost lake. Either way it's a Gem!!! CONGRATZ.......

That’s a killer for sure how deep into the bank was it ? You guys find anything else ?
That was sticking out in the bank in an area we were not digging in. When the lake was made it must have been pushed there. Only artifact while digging was this 20171220_121802.jpg

Great Missouri point, I lived in Columbia Mo for over 20 years, lot of nice artifacts there.

Thats cool a guy here I know dug a lake on his property and later found a Quartzite Discodial highly polished. So you just never know, nice point

Is the point glossy. Usually cooking rock makes it turn color and shiny. That point, from all the way over here, looks uncooked and natural. JMHO

I didnt think it was heat treated but a few a few others thought it may have been. no gloss. Thought it may be a st. charles dove tail since there is no heat treat.
