    Not rose quartz but a really good grade of coastal plain chert.

    It is about the right thickness for this style point and it is a little thicker than 5/16"

    Thats a good one!! Im still waiting on a good one for this year. This January has been a lot different than last for me. Last year this time I had found 2 nice points and a Celt.

    Best bug repellent I have ever used bugband.net check it out.
