Very Cool Find! I like the arrow straightener idea but is the gap wide enough for that? Maybe some one off type tool / vise / clamp?

Why do you think it’s a tool?

looks natural from what I can see. More pics of any man made alterations you see would be helpful.

I posted for a friend and asked him for more pics and this was all he sent.

It was found in Snelling california in a field that was freshly plowed. The field hasn't been plowed since early 1900s

I like it and would have keeped it for sure, it sure dont look like the grove weathering matches the outside weathering. could be some type of abraider.
